Health Equity: Improving Data Quality and Effectiveness

Assisting a major health plan, in collaboration with its provider networks, to implement common data standards for collecting and sharing race and ethnicity data. With these standards and sharing in place, the health plan and its providers are improving their ability to measure and manage current and future health equity initiatives. 

Prior Authorization

Advancing Automation - In collaboration with the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation (NEHI), facilitating a multi-stakeholder initiative to automate open, standards-based prior authorization for all of Massachusetts within three years.

Testing Automation – Along with a major health plan, a specialty hospital, and a technology services provider, implementing a scalable prototype of the DaVinci use case for Coverage Requirements Discovery (CRD), the first phase of prior authorization automation.

Quality: Implementing a Shared Quality Measures Specification

Convened payers and providers to design and implement a common data specification for quality measures.
