Overview
Mission: To provide a venue for Internet Professionals to benefit
from educational programs and industry experts, share problems
and solutions with the group, receive feedback on sites and techniques,
and form collaborative projects.
The MHDC Internet Professionals Forum (formerly the Webmaster
Group - changed as of 2005) was established in 1996, and remains
one of the Consortium's most popular groups. Our meetings attract technical, design,
marketing and managerial internet professionals alike, and participation is open to
all member organizations of the Consortium. Non-member participants are also
welcome to join, though are charged a nominal fee.
The Internet Professionals Forum meets quarterly, usually on the
first Wednesday of the month in March, June, September and December.
Members choose the topics that they would like to learn about on
a yearly basis, and meetings include featured presentations, resource
sharing, site showcases, round table discussions, expert question-and-answer
sessions, case studies, and networking. Annual Topics are determined
based on a survey issued to our group members.
