Wireless Applications & Innovation for the Healthcare Industry
Description
This session will cover an introduction to applied wireless solutions
for the healthcare industry. The session will include an update
on current events in the wireless industry, discussion of wireless
device strengths and weaknesses, an introduction to wireless application
architecture, and demonstrations of wireless applications and tools
for healthcare. Attendees will hear from wireless industry experts
on the benefits, challenges, and opportunities for successful wireless
applications.
Speakers
- Todd Christy - Co-founder and CTO, Pyxis Mobile
Todd Christy is CTO and founder of Pyxis Mobile. He runs the Product Development team, responsible for the
design, development, testing, and release of all Pyxis Mobile software products. Todd brings more than 15
years of experience designing and delivering complex computing systems for some of the world’s largest
companies. He is a frequent contributor at industry events, and is a member of Research In Motion’s advisory
council.
- Arun Nagarajan - Wireless Architect, Pyxis Mobile
Arun Nagarajan is a Wireless Architect at Pyxis Mobile, responsible for wireless application design and
development, and heading Pyxis’ Innovation Team. Arun developed the original BlackBerry version of mPlatform,
and is a leader in the wireless technology industry.
