Patient Interaction on the Internet:
How to Improve the Experience
Description
Health Care providers are facing a complex challenge. Patients are demanding an environment where immediacy rules, privacy is paramount and information is accurate and relevant. Their experience as consumers is greatly influencing their experience as patients. The Internet has emerged as an empowering technology that can provide a context for a patient decision making. Web Self Service is the place where transactions and content come together to enable an individual patient's decision making cycle. This session will give you an opportunity to discuss what data you trying to put online and why. We'll also discuss a framework for the patient experience that goes beyond just knowledge consumption to serving each patient's needs. Attendees will come away with knowledge about the latest technology trends in providing an exceptional Internet experience for their patients.
