Redefining Health and Wellness:
The Future of Online Consumer-Centered Healthcare

Description

It's one of the greatest challenges and opportunities for health care in the coming years. It's redefining how companies are creating online functionality and content. It's already transforming other industries, such as financial services and retail. It's consumerism - a paradigm-shifting focus on driving business results through a deep understanding of consumers and their needs.

The health care industry has already leveraged its online presence for many key results: transaction cost reductions, education, portals for members, providers, and plan sponsors, and more. But with the advent of consumer-driven health plans, and with other industries empowering consumers through their sites, consumerism is leading more and more companies to re-evaluate what they're doing online and how they're doing it.

Today, companies are racing to embrace the consumer. But who are the consumers we care about? What are their attitudes and expectations? What do they value? How do we base decisions on them? What will lead them to the business results we care about?

Please join Molecular as we share and explore tips for answering the following questions:

  • How can I define who my consumers are?
  • What are the ways to determine what is important to them?
  • How can I create value for them?
  • How do I define the metrics that are important to track and improve upon?
  • How do I create a shared understanding of them within my organization?
  • What will this mean for my team? Group? Company?

We'll discuss Molecular's research-driven methodology for consumerism, including customer interviews, customer surveys, usability tests, and log file analysis. We'll then explore how personas make this research clear and actionable throughout the site creation process.
