Cisco TelePresence in Healthcare
Please join Cisco at the Consortium on Friday, February 1 for an open discussion on the current state of the exciting
new "in-person" communications medium called TelePresence. TelePresence brings people together to meet
around a virtual table, or to appear in-person, on a stage, or in a room in full life-size so that
interactions among people are as effective as being there - from anywhere in the world where there
is a network connection. The converged IP network, the technologies for processing, transporting,
and displaying high-definition video and spatial audio are ready and affordable today for global use.
During this session we’ll discuss the implications of TelePresence relative to new services and
collaboration now possible among physicians, nurses, specialists, patients, providers, suppliers,
and partners which will result in transformational impact on the healthcare industry.

Speaker:
Chris Campbell - Business Transformation Specialist, Cisco
Chris Campbell is a telepresence industry pioneer, active in product development,
marketing, and telepresence sales since 2004. Campbell’s 25-year industry experience
in technology R&D, international marketing, and sales spans a variety of communications
and information technology fields. A native of Massachusetts, he holds a BSEE from
University of Lowell and an MBA from UCLA.
