The programs may be viewed in the hospital or physician's office, or at home with others close to the patient.

The product is supported with customizable delivery options that may include interactive television systems, bedside touch screen interactive computer Learning Exchange® tablets or Internet streaming, as well as the more familiar VHS tapes and CD/DVD's. "The Infrastructure Behind e-Prescribing"

One of the most formidable goals for healthcare organizations is assuring that clinicians always have accurate, up-to-date clinical information to deliver the highest quality healthcare. The inability to efficiently and rapidly access the information that is contained in dispersed, paper-based medical records and databases has serious consequences to the health of the nation. Innovations in information technology will lead the way to a transformation how health care is delivered. The critical first step is to establish an infrastructure that supports technological advances.

RxHub is building such an infrastructure for the electronic exchange of critical decision support information at the point of care. This interoperable health care information exchange will allow for secure connectivity across providers, payers, pharmacies and other key constituencies. Clinicians will have the information they need to make the best clinical decisions at the right time to manage and address their patients' health care needs. This presentation will discuss the fundamentals required in building such an infrastructure and the partnerships in the industry to achieve long-term success.
