Shelagh Joyce
Shelagh Joyce, CIO, MIT Medical Department, is Director of Information Systems and Medical Records at MIT Medical. MIT Medical serves the MIT student, employee and retiree population. MIT Medical offers all the Medical specialties, has over 140,000 Outpatient visits a year and provides to its' community an Inpatient infirmary.
Before joining MIT in 2000, Ms. Joyce was a healthcare consulting manager at Beacon Partners. Prior to Beacon Ms. Joyce held senior IT positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, NE Deaconess Hospital and South Shore Hospital. She has more than 20 years experience in health care and information technology.
